Dr. Suh was born in South Korea and grew up in Seattle. He went to University of Washington for his undergrad degree and majored in Bioengineering, Chemistry and Biochemistry winning several major scholarships and awards. He's a two time recipient of both U of WA Merit Scholarship and Merit Engineering Scholarship. He went to University of Michigan Medical School/School of Public Health on prestigious M.D./Ph.D Medical Scientist Training Fellowship with emphasis on theoretical epidemiology. He chose to end his academic training and decided to focus his efforts in psychiatry completing his medical degree, his internship and residency training all at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He's a Diplomat of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He's been in private practice at his Bellevue location since 2003. 

Dr. Suh loves to go for walks and hikes with his wife while avoiding overnight camping as much as possible and is still struggling with his mild golf addiction.
